Editorial policy

Fresh News Dispatch aims to explain how news works with care, clarity and independence. Our readers should be able to see the difference between a supported statement, an attributed claim and an open question.

Accuracy and sourcing

We check factual statements against material appropriate to the claim and make the basis clear in the article. Attribution shows where a statement comes from; it does not by itself prove that statement. We avoid presenting inference as fact, preserve relevant context and revise wording when evidence does not support the certainty a sentence implies.

Independence

Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not buy favorable coverage, a particular conclusion or control over independent editorial work. We consider whether a proposed topic serves readers and whether a relationship could reasonably affect how a piece is understood.

Corrections

If a reader identifies a possible error, we review the specific point and the material behind it. When a correction is warranted, we amend the relevant passage and make the change clear in the article where appropriate. Contact Fresh News Dispatch through the Contact page with the article and detail at issue.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid, sponsored or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. The label appears with the material, and partner arrangements do not imply editorial endorsement. Some illustrations may be generated using AI; where relevant, we identify them clearly and do not present illustrative imagery as documentary evidence.
